We've rebooted our reference music/home theater reference setup here at Outreach. The new, peerlessly awesome Storm Audio ISP 3D Elite processor, PS Audio BHK mono tube/solid state hybrid amps, full 11.3 Dolby Atmos/DTS X/Auro 3D capability -- this is one of the finest rigs on the east coast.
Axpona, in my hometown of Chicago, is one of the largest annual A/V shows in the world featuring hundreds of the most cutting-edge audio and video manufacturers. Amongst this competition, the Scaena Loudspeaker room was cited as best in show by several sources, including the audio review magazines/websites The Absolute Sound and Dagogo.com. I helped run the showroom with the owners/designers -- Outreach A/V carries the brand because they you closer to live music than any other I've heard. The reviewers agree. The system is scalable to hit different price points and function in different-sized rooms. There are all kinds of big box speakers out there in the same price range, but none do what the Scaena's can.
This installation is in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, not far from the beautiful, historic city of Ouro Preto. The Scaena 1.4 setup (18 midrange drivers/12 ribbon tweeters/2 18” woofers per side) is driven by Audio Research 610 mono amps and Burmeister source electronics. The system plays with scope, power, dimension and delicacy.
The consumer electronic show (CES) in Las Vegas recently ended, and Outreach was there assisting Scaena in their demonstration suite as well as scouting and reporting on new products of interest. As always, distinctive performance and value guide our decision-making. We only sell products we think offer something special. As such, we’ve picked up the AMR/iFi line* of digital and streaming products, the DSPeaker anti-mode 2.0* digital preamp with room correction, and we’ll have more product line pickups to announce soon.
There are other sites for this (I’m told)
